Yep and thanks. It's certainly a blessing in disguise and really ended up being the color I was after--- Sunrise Teaburst. Funny thing, the seller thought it was a Stanley burst but Gibson confirmed it is actually a Sunrise Teaburst which makes it a bit more rare for an R9. In the end, we're both stoked. I appreciate your apologies and that situation was not your fault at all as it was sundogg who decided to not sell it to me after we had a verbal agreement. Again, a blessing in disguise as this Sunrise Teaburst is, to me, a real gem. Thanks again... Carlos

I do appreciate the apology as I'm sure you had no idea or at least I hope you didn't. Your seller, sundogg, and I had an agreement and he then went ahead took a better offer after we settled on the price... not a nice way to do business. He was pretty threatening as well to me. I could never recommend him to anyone, unfortunately. I'm glad you got the guitar though. It is really nice.

I did ultimately find "the one" for me. It's a sunrise teaburst from 2006 murphy-aged. Pretty smokin guitar. We both made out in my opinion and got fairly lucky.

I found the 535q quite fiddly, the 404 isnt as bad as that. You can choose between the red and yellow fassel and the knob is used for adjusting the boost. So you can choose between the two wah sounds. Ive got the goldtop slash, your right about the never ending line of sigs, I hear the next one will be the kris derigg one. Price will prob be ridiculous tho!!!

Think the CAE wah is ace, you can get too different sounds out of it. Def worth a go, tried the dimebag wah and the 535q but decided the CAE was for me. Was going to try the Slash but didn't need the distortion. Def don't think you can go wrong with it!!! How was the Slash VOS?

I'm truly happy for you dude and your new R9 is a nice guitar. I thought I got to it first but your seller decided otherwise... bad for me good for you. Enjoy it.

Your Slash VOS is just awesome. Wish I could get this guitar, cause I simply LOVE honeybursts, and because of Slash, too. Unfortunately, I'm out of money...but I'd be glad with some detailed pics, just for appreciation, would you send them to peteterra@hotmail.co.uk?

    Cya mate!
