    Well the golden era of his amps was a Twin Reverb with JBL D120 speakers in it.. thats the amp I want! He also played Supers in the early Butterfield days

    A twin will only over drive when its full blast and then it will not be that dirty, remember that Bluesbreakers are only 30watts and a twin is 80watts. The BB gets REAL dirty quickly and you have NO headroom. My Lead and Bass is 50 watts and thats more like beast

    Yeah twin reverbs are great how do they compare to the bluesbreaker?
    Can they get as much gain as the bb reissue or are they cleaner?

    I got it from my Amp tech mate. I would rather have a Twin Reverb though..
