Coolness, I was actually looking at the Fender Super Sonic amp, I love the Bassman channel (played one the other night at GC). That burn channel is pretty sweet too. So many amps so little time and money. Maybe I'll check out that Crunchbox.

MI audio makes it. Turns my Super Reverb into a JCM800 lol. Love it!

I am trying different things. Right now I'm doing some higher gain stuff so I put in a Crunch Box for a more JCM800 thing as opposed to more of a Plexi thing... I have a big pedal reserve and I am constantly changing things in and out... Just depends what music I'm playing and just keeping it fun lol.

30th sounds way better. It has the 808 sound but with more clarity and tone range.

Honestly I'd recommend the PlimSoul and the 30th anniversary.. The 30th is a bit more organic sounding than what I've heard from the DX and the 30th has a the TS808 chip and circuit so it's like a TS808. That plus a PlimSoul would be fantastic. Or perhaps an OCD and PlimSoul - I LOVE that combination. But if you are keeping your DX - go PlimSoul.

Hey! Doing good! Yes the M77 is a perfect fit with the M78. The M77 does sound like a Timmy in unbumped mode and a Green Rhino in bumped mode. Hope this helps. I think the two go great together.

Yeah that CM-2 just got more and more muddy the more I played it. Went to Sam Ash and played the TS9, TS9DX and HW CM-2 side by side, it was no comparison the TS won hands down. Very happy with my setup now. Still debating keeping the HW SC-2 but it doesn't seem to have that muddy problem like the CM2 did. I'll keep researching, still have plenty of time to return if I decide to.
