I have the exact same LP (same year)! Isn't it great!! I LOVE the faded top! Think it looks a million times better than the solid color Studios (and a BILLION TIMES better than the horrible looking Mahogany tops!) lol

I also changed everything to cream like you did, except I added amber top hats. Oh, and I also removed my pickguard. Looks great man!!

I love the look of the faded top too. It's one of the best looking guitars I've ever owned and it rocks like a beast. Cream plastic really does look great with this guitar. Happy to hear you are enjoying your axe.
