If you're looking for the perfect PAF set, like you've just got'em directly from Gibson's assembly line in 1959, the Electric City Pickups RD-59 Hybrid set is exactly what you're looking for.
Look at the "Last PAF Shootout" sticky thread, you can hear the RD-59 set and compare it with a lot of other boutique p'ups and vintage Gibsons as well.
I owned a RD-59 set, now in my #1 guitar have the RD-59 Hybrid set and it works a bit better for my taste and for the guitar they're installed into, which is a 1980 MIJ in the Terada factory, all-maple 335 copy. It sounds like early '80s Larry Carlton, which it was the sound I was aiming for.
