Thanks for the rely, John, much appreciated. I don't think I want to start filing down Bigsby's but I can see why that would be necessary to get the break-angle down lower. For the time being I've had the studs fixed and it's playing really nicely with the wraparound bridge so I think I'm gonna leave it stock. Got a LP Standard and an SG with Bigsby's so I should be okay! If I change my mind, I think I'll go with a B5 as the safest option!

well Tolm, I still use my Epi today live and the action is fairly high and i adapted to that and my action on my Riviera i use onstage as well also I had to remove the stud holes to make the body flush because the medal Epiphone studs stick out of the body unlike the Gibson

Hi - hope you don't mind me messaging you,

I found an old thread where you were talking about putting a Bigsby B3 on a flat-top Epiphone LP. I'm currently considering doing exactly that on an Epi LP Junior but am worried the lack of tension bar on the B3 (as opposed to a B7) will mean I'll get too poor tension over the bridge and/or I'll have to set the bridge height really high. How did yours work out?
