hey thanks for that silcone tip. Was wondering if you could help me even more as I'm really new to this. I think i sent you an email msg with my wrong email address haha. For starters I don't have a clue what the slug of the pickup is (I'm guessing the top part of the coil?). Also that fabric tape interests me and I was wondering if i get that will i be covering a certain part of the pickup or just the top area where the cover connects? Sorry for all the questions. I just recently picked up a faded '08 standard and it had zebras on it and i wanted to install some nickel covers. Any help is appreciated and any pictures too! thanks

Yeah man the Skatters are in my R9 and they sound GREAT.. best pups I have had and thats the truth. Last night I traded my DR for a Marshall combo and will be doing a tone report / clip and all that as soon as I get the chance, sunday!
