thanks for the tip on the straight line neck - nearly straight line knobs re: my fake LP. ive had about 7 LP's so far and really i shoulda known better. wont make that mistake again i just couldnt help myself. LP's are still silly expensive here. wont get a new standard for much less than $2400 u.s. (£1200) (and thats a good deal in a store)
