I relisted the following on ebay with no reserve and a 1 dollar starting bid. I guess what they go for they go for.

WOW the same guy bid on 3 of my 4 guitars already. That was fast. I was expecting it to go a day or two at least before anyone even placed a bid.

I am probably gonna loose my A$$ on these listings as I never seem to have good luck with ebay.

What the heck?? The 05 Les Paul Jr is going for 305 dollars right now and my 78 les paul and 64 Melody Maker signed by BB King aren't even at 200 dollars yet??? That would suck and make absolutley no sense of the Les Paul Jr sold for more than the other guitars???

Yeah I know but I have a hard time believing an item is going to just 500 or 600 dollars in the last minute. Who knows though maybe if it stays this low more people will be inclined to bid on it at that last minute???

Seriously the most watchers I have ever had on a guitar is 50 people so far on the 1964 MM signed by BB King. But not much action on it???

I would gladly ship to Canada. It would be more than the flat rate 35 dollar shipping charge. I would only charge you for the actual shipping costs though and whatever it cost me for a box to ship it in if I did not have one available.

Its always nerve racking when your 78 Les Paul and 64 MM signed by BB King have 3 days left and they are both going for less than 200 dollars??? Makes me think somebodys gonna get them way to cheap.

WOW ebay really sucks these days. I have had 8 bid cancellations on my items since I listed them. It almost seems like people are entering a higher bid and then retracting it just so they can see how much the current high bidder has put down?

Unless than many people are just making mistakes while bidding? This is ridiculous. I don't understand why Ebay even allows people to do this.

Don't miss out the auction ends in the next few hours and everthing is priced extremely low. It looks like I am gonna loose alot of money on these guitars as they appear to be selling for way less than what I have invested into them.

I am trying. I am hoping to get at least 900 for the 78 LP, 1200 for the 64 MM 400 for the Jackson, and 650 for the LP Jr. Thats roughly what I got into them if I remember it correctly, but I don't think they are gonna sell for that much???

All I can do is wait I guess.

less than 1 hours and the most expensive guitar is the MM at $532 everything else is well under 500 bucks.

You certainly deserve props for a doing a true no-reserve auction and not shill-bidding up your own items... that's rare on eBay these days!

Amen brother. I like to think of myself as an honest person. Unfortunatley that doesn't really seem to pay off well in my favor though.

Oh well. Maybe I overpaid, I guess it really doesn't matter anymore, they are gonna go for what they go for.

WOW unreal less than 500 dollars for the 78 LP and the 05 LP Jr. I practically gave the stuff away. Oh well what are you gonna do.

I almost have as much into the pickups on the 78 LP as what it sold for. I think the pickups were around 325 bucks installed and I bought them brand new about a 3 months ago.

OK not I got bigger problems than low selling guitars??? One of the buyers is claiming to have bought 2 of my items and wants the item numbers included on them because he has already auctioned them off to some place else??? Also I only show that he purchased one of my items????

Then the next issue is someone from Norway one the bid on a different guitar and they never verified if I would ship it there. I was going to charge a flat standard rate of 35 dollars for the lower 48 states.

This is just messed up. I hate Ebay. I don't want to be a victim of some scam or loose out on shipping costs now too? I will never use ebay again. This was it for me. Now I have to try and call them and find out what the heck is going on something seems like a scam here????

Charge the dude from Norway the actual cost including tracking and insurance. If he doesn't like it tough.

As for the other guy, not sure what to make of that? Just invoice him for what he has bought according to your info and send it on it's way. Don't give any additional info other than the invoice and tracking number. If he wants to re-sell it, that is his business. But don't cater to his demands. He has the item numbers and can print the info of his purchase from you on his own accord.

Ebay's not that bad. You just have to know how to deal with idiots.

If you never agreed to do international shipping, it's within your right to cancel the winning bidder's bid and not go through with the sale of that item...

If the person would have asked me first that would have been fine. I don't mind shipping some stuff overseas as long as the buyer contacts me first.

Anyways I am more worried about being a victim of fraud. One of my items sold seems very suspicious and the fact that the seller is claiming to have purchased multiple items from me and that I only show 1 item sold I am confused???

Also considering less than 2 years ago I had a large amount of money stolen from my paypal account, I am thinking its time to close my Ebay account and just keep what I got. I think from now on I will only be doing local sales or dealing with my local music stores.

There are just way to many scammers out there and I seem to end up on there lists all the time.

I have changed email address's and done all kinds of stuff but they still seem to find me. I am thinking its related to Ebay and craigslist. Both of which I am going to stop using.

I have just had way to many problems and its just not worth it to me anymore. Sure I might pay more dealing with a local shop and have less variety but I can live with that if it means I won't be a victim of the latest scam.

Tell Norway to take a hike. Usually a legit bidder from another country will ask you for shipping costs before bidding. Now the guy who claims he bought 2 items from you sounds problematic. Is he using 2 ID's on Ebay? Don't give in to his demands. Just send him the Invoice and wait for him to pay. If he doesn't pay, he's out of luck.

Gee, I don't like the sound of that! How is he going to establish he bought both of them and why does he need your ebay numbers on them? He already auctioned them off??? This really stinks. Please be careful.

And keep in mind, if you're accepting PayPal for all these payments, they tend to side with a buyer in a dispute. This doesn't mean you'll get totally ripped off if someone is trying to scam you, but it does mean that funds and / or guitars will be tied up for a while -- no good if you need $$ from the sale. I don't do overseas eBay transactions anymore because I'm not confident in PayPal's 'seller protection' policies when it comes to shipping outside of the US.

I actually feel really bad because I listed 4 guitars and 2 of them sold to people who are probably actually honest decent people. But I already contacted Ebay and after a long conversation with them I am not going to follow through with any of the items I sold. As a matter of fact, I have not received funds from anyone and will not send an invoice or request funds. If for some reason I do get paid I will have to send the money back. Also I am probably still going to be responsible for all ebay listing and selling fees.

Long story short I have to wait 30 days and then I can close my Ebay account.

Never again will I use Ebay. 100% positive feedback and 77 happy people and all for what? Nothing!

I don't care I just don't want to deal with it anymore.

Its more trouble than its worth. Plus this way I won't end up with other peoples broken stuff that they sell on Ebay anymore.
