GC mis-labeled price tag on Hist 60's VOS LP
Hey Guys - was just at GC and they had the old price of 2999 vs 3699 for the 60's VOS Historic DarkBurst - I spoke to mgr and he will honor the price, so my question is are they really worth that as I've seen R0's for 2800-3000 regularly from some of the vendors that are on this site at times - LP gurus I would love to know your thoughts on this regarding the G0 vs R0 for the price-

lol, thats one reason I walked out but was in area and of course something caught my eye as I was looking for an M13, which they didnt have ( I have a gift card I would like to use too

Not speaking for anyone else about GC, but I bought my Classic there last year. Got a great deal with green tags, discounts, and 15% off. That said, if I were to ever buy another LP I would get a historic and it would be through one of the many good dealers mentioned on this forum. I think the guitars would be better and by the ads i've seen, the prices are much better.

Thanks man, I hear ya, I'm just not sure of the prices for these Ro's/Go's as I'm a total newbie to the LP's, been doing research but alwasy like to defer to the guru's that know better.. I do know they play great and so def gonna get me one, when the right one comes along - Thanks again for all the insight/feedback

If I'm ever in a position to buy a guitar from a major chain store like GC, I always go with Sweetwater. They have hooked me up with some incredible prices on two separate occasions. And Sweetwater also ships the guitar 'double-boxed'.
Unlike Musiciansfriend, who, years ago, shipped me an Epi Dot with a third F-hole. Doh'! |
