Help: Must Move Some Items
Obviously with the new Mirabella conversion and the 57' Mirabella GT conversion last year I HAVE to move some things...e mail me rich@thefishingline.com for pics for serious buyers only.
1. Set of Gibson 50’s P90’s PUP’s: Pretty self explanatory…these are KILLER pickups that are come from THE 52-59 Mirabella conversion I just posted on these boards. The front pickup (straight screw) is 7.9 and the diagonal back PUP is 8.3 or 8.6 can’t remember. So hot these PUP’s are when they come close to each other the magnets grab each other...insane how awesome these are. $1,200 and am willing to sell separately. 2. 69’ Fender Olympic White Tele & OHSC: ALL THERE and certified 100% authentic by Mirabella. These on G Base are all hovering around $7,500 or more. I don’t like the maple neck and I need the cash. She weighs 6 pounds 11 ounces and has the Buck Owens “twang’ you’ve heard about in Fenders for years!! She is the perfect tele…for that tele lover and player. I need the cash. A bargain at $6,700. 3. 1976 LP WINE RED Standard & OHSC: Again she is a great sounding standard….yes a little heavy but I have no idea what she weighs…but of course it is not as light as my conversions (LOL). She has the right serial number for 76’ starting with “00”, she is marked deluxe on the back of the headstock but the truss rod says standard and it is a FACTORY ROUTE as was available then. In excellent condition front and back with only a small ding on the edge below the knobs. She did have a refret and these frets have a ton of life on them and feel like the 59’ frets on my conversions. I believe the tuners were changed but are period correct as you did have a choice form the factory of pearloids of the cheapo chromed Schaller tuners Gibson was using at the time, but no extra screw holes or routing needed with these tuners. Great tone and a distinct different tone in al these toggle positions. I paid $2,400 but was reimbursed $400 when I found out she had a reftret…I am selling it with the original case for $2,000 4. 50’s Lifton Gibson ES 335 case: In decent shape. I paid $700 selling for $700 5. 1974 Fender Strat: this 100% original 1974, three bolt neck, large head stock, double string tree Olympic white Fender Stratocaster with staggered pole pickup’s. This baby has maple neck and board, staggered pole pickups and contoured ash body. This Strat is the tremolo model in its original Fender case with winged logo & these cases are selling for over $350 these days. This is easily a 9/10 and the REAL DEAL. Its original 3 way switch, tuning pegs and everything included untouched and fully guaranteed all featherweight and in Ex+ condition or money back! This beauty started life as an Olympic white Strat and has aged and ambered to gorgeous lemon chiffon yellow…headstock ambered as well and there’s not too many of these around that’s for sure. This is 100% original strat and on G base run al over the place in price depending on condition and I found some to $6,500. Priced to sell at $5,500. 6. Early 70’s Music Man 210HD Combo Amp 130 watts: This 2 10 combo is 100% original and a killer sounding amp at 130 watts with the high low switch to cut it in half. Pristine condition priced to move at $600…unheard of for this price for 130 watts. Rocks, blues, country they do it all! $600 7. Road Amp: Late 70s’ Road amp 110 watts solid state amp I bought in KC, KS in June of 78 and I am on the ONLY owner of this amp. Just had the speakers reconed and bench serviced by amp master world famous Ampeg man Jess Oliver (see; www.ampeg.com/history.htm, www.vintageguitar.com/brands/details.asp?ID=100, Guitar Reviews: Harmony Central® - User Reviews, you get the picture…no one better! It is sweet and clean like a Fender Twin with the power and clear bell tones…but has master volume for that REO 70’s crunch tone to it… Road was a big name in amps in the late 70’s with many of the bass rigs used in disco and the guitar amps for everything from rock and country to disco…it can go clean or dirty. Built in Chanute, KS in the 70’s, I bought it new in KC, MO before coming back home to Long Island and I am the one and only original owner. This one has traveled the country and has served me well gigging and never let me down. It is the size of a Fender Twin but lighter and can go from clean and country to bluesy to an overdrive for rock! One of the cool features is the metal screening over the speakers to protect them from damage and “punch through’s.” It has knobs for master volume, volume, bass, middle, treble, effects (intensity) and reverb. It still has its original speakers but now reconed. The tone and sound is pure vintage! Nothing can duplicate it…$300 8. 1978 Alvarez Dove Acoustic: With tunomatic bridge and adjustable saddles for each string sounds richer and fuller than any $800 guitar you're going to find. We just installed a Fishman sound hole pickup that can be removed if you wish as it sits across the sound hole and the only change to this all original guitar was to widen the butt hole for the 1/4" jack. This guitar is a real beauty with blonde top and mahogany sides and back and sounds like an acoustic should! Near mint with HSC. There is an audio file to paste into your browser to hear this baby recorded direct to my hard dive with no tonal alterations. http://www.thefishingline.com/videos.../78Alvarez.wma Selling for $850 Last edited by thefishingline; 03-31-2008 at 06:40 AM. |
