FS: Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker Reissue

I CAN BE CONTACTED AT

junnage@gmail.com

References can be found on my eBay account (cinematographllc)

I would give the condition a 9-9.5/10.

The reviews on Harmony Central help to say it all. Especially note the sound quality of the average review. It ranges from 9.3-9.8/10, which is a BFD (big ****ing deal)!

I've had the amp for almost a year now, and it has helped me grow as a guitarist and know what a really good amp sounds like. It had all the right sounds for all the music I was interested in: blues, jazz, classic rock, hard rock that was rooted in blues. It had it ALL. With my simple Gibson '58 Les Paul>>Vintage Thomas Organ Wah>>Marshall Bluesbreaker setup, I could get the sweetest clean tone, to the meanest Jimmy Page type of distortion. It currently has 4x12AX7 preamp tubes and 2x6L6GC/5881 power tubes.

In my opinion, my words can hardly do it justice. It is the holy grail of clean tone (I personally think it's better than Fender's Twin's and Twin Reverbs), blues, jazz, classic rock and hard rock. It is also a master at making ANY pedal that you put in front of it to sound good. It has tamed and made beasts like my Boss MT-2 Metalzone pedal SING and SCREAM! I've plugged multiple distortion pedals inside, such as the Boss Metalzone, Ibanez TS-808 (and TS-9), Keeley Modded Boss DS-1, Ibanez Jemini and Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde. I've sold most of them due to financial reasons and space issues.

At the same time, this is not a gain monster, so do not expect to get Meshuggah or Slipknot out of this amp.

So, why would someone be selling this? It weighs 66.6lbs, and this amp could easily be renamed the Marshall Backbreaker. In addition, I also like lots of headroom, which this lacks (since it is 30 watts).

So, shoot your offers my way and I'll try my best

Cash-wise, I'm looking for $1300, OBO shipped and paypal'd. Also comes with Marshall Footswitch

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO MAKE OFFERS! The worst I can do is say no.

Oh yeah and here's some pictures:

Here it is in my room:

Grill Tear. Very small, very hard to see, but still there:

Oh sorry, forgot to put that in. I'm in New Jersey. In very close proximity (about a 10 minute drive) to New York City.

I guess so. Only high gain amp heads, really, however.

Re: FS: Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker Reissue

That seems like a fair price, just bump every now and then. I wish I could buy it but I already spent way too much on amps this year, tapped out. Good luck.

I did...by a twisted turn of events. I got this thing back. If I even tried to explain the story, you'd laugh pretty hard at me.
