1996 Gibson Les Paul Special w/HSC - $1150 shipped/paypal'd
This is one of the mid-90s models with proper bound neck, proper heel and tenon, and P100 pups (I expected to change them out for P90s but found I kinda like their thing too). Plastic still on the pickguard! There is some normal finish checking on the back of the headstock where the tuners screw in. Recently set up by David Neely in Hollywood and possibly the best-playing guitar I own. Comes in hawt 90s brown Gibson HSC.

Hot (loud P90s), heavy (a man's man's Lester at 11 lbs), and probably the best-looking LP I've ever held, which is not to say it's not also pretty nice-sounding. As played by Neil Schon, Marc Ford, and Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts). Also recently set up by David Neely, very low action to match the original wide/low frets, great for leads. Comes with Protector I "chainsaw" case with one replaced latch (visible in pic).

Price drop on the Pro Deluxe to $1800 shipped/paypal'd - also it turns out it's a 78, not a 77 - not sure how that notion got in my head in the first place - and yup, the electronics are all original and pots are dated correctly.
