FS: Dean

ok so my dean project is up for sale. i got all the learning i needed out of it and now its for sale as a great and inexpensive beginner guitar

$25 + shipping and its yours!!!
Dean Makeover

but there are a little things here and there that arnt perfect.

1) someone left the heatgun on and it disfomed the plastic back cover as well as bubbled the paint a little
2)the body paint isnt the most even, its not bad and it all shows up in the pitctures but its there.
3) i cant get the nut down on the treble side. the nut shelf isnt cut right and i cut it as straight as i could but if i shave it down more the nut will be too low. its still lifted off by about 1mm, and if you must fix it you need a new nut or a shim. both of which im not going to do to a guitar im selling for 25$

it plays now and is pretty good sounding despite the low price and the other small things. its pretty loud acoustically too.

Re: FS: Dean

im open to trades but for $25 what are you going to trade?
strings, picks? dont need those.

its honestly cheap enough to buy and smash on stage at a gig, or for fun. i would just save the bridge pup. it has a good early metallica sound to it, and is my favorite part of this whole thing. that and the whole guitar weighs under 5 lbs.

im sure there has to be someone out there that knows someone that wants to start learning but cant make the dive into a more expensive starter guitar. im sure with the holidays coming someone will bite before long.

And I'm trying not to spend any money to save up for a nice acoustic that's why I offered. To trade.

Re: FS: Dean

it says $25-$35 bucks. usps is odd b/c it doesnt ask about size and such but as long as its under a certain "girth" then its ok. usps also doesnt charge as much when shipping to canada b/c it doesnt use a customs agent or anything like that.

Re: FS: Dean

You know what Matt, I'll pay the shipping and you can send it to Jomo if he wants it. If not, you should still have my info in your paypal and I'll take it. Send me an email if you don't get a response from VH with the amount needed to be paid.

Re: FS: Dean

I'm PMing Vast. He PMed me and asked for the guitar, so he's really the reason I did it. Like I said in the PM to you, if he doesn't PayPal you the shipping, I'd like it to go to someone that needs a guitar. Davebag PMed me also, but I told him that shipping to Scotland would be more than the guitar is worth.

Re: FS: Dean

I tried setting up a Paypal account for my dad so that I can use his credit card (with his permission).

The thing is, I tried the "Forgot password" method of recovering your account and if someone knew what my dad's e-mail address is and what our telephone number or address were, the password can be easily changed.

I don't know what to do. I have created the account and have put up security questions and answers yet when I try to recover the password, it still just asks me what our e-mail address and house numbers are.

This is a huge security risk...

You need to have your Dad call Paypal right away. They are usually very happy to help and it sounds like it needs to be taken care of anyway. If Souldriver isn't able to do this, I will help you. You can either snail mail him a check for the shipping, or you can snail mail it to me and I'll PayPal him for the shipping. Just let me know how you guys want to do it.

Will do, Jomo. I just can't take care of it right now as I have a Physics test tomorrow. I'm pulling an all-nighter for this one.

I'll give them a call Tuesday morning. Thanks.
