FS: 2008 Gibson Historic Les Paul G0 and 1999 Taylor 810ce that Still Smells New

I need to sell some gear to make room for my dream guitar. At least it is my dream guitar until I find my new dream guitar.

I have a 2008 Gibson Historic Les Paul VOS finish G0 (1960 reissue plaintop). It is in good condition and has never been taken from my smoke free home. It weighs some where between 9 and 10 pounds. The neck is a smaller 60's neck profile. All stock with all case candy. Gibson claims it is a lemonburst. However, in person it looks just like an Iced Tea finish.

I almost always played the guitar without a pick guard. As a result there are some marks under and around the PG. There is a pic showing the marks that can be seen with the PG on the guitar. There is no worming or other marks on the back of the guitar. The LP is all stock except for the pointers I added under the knobs and strap locks. Strap locks are not included.

Asking $2300.00 shipped in the CONUS only. Paypal OK only if you do a personal transfer or pick up the paypal fees. Otherwise, certified check or money order. No trades, please.

The VOS sticker on the PG isn't included.

Next on the block is a 1999 Taylor 810ce with all the case candy, original strings still installed, with original case and shipping box. I have played it all of about 30 minutes total since I bought it new in 1999. I have kept it stored in my smoke free home. It is in the same condition it was in when I bought it new except that the wood has darkened slightly.

I bought it thinking that I would need an acoustic with a pickup in it. I have never needed it so I have never gigged with it. The guitar and case still have the "new" guitar smell.

How deep are those scratches on you LP?

Can it be buffed off?

The scratches don't go into the wood, as far as I can tell. However, the nitro on these guitars is pretty thin so I don't know if they can be buffed out or not because of that.
