2007 Limited Edition 1957 NAMM Custom Shop Stratocaster - Sunburst

Up for sale is my 2007 NAMM Limited Edition Stratocaster in sunburst color. This is considered a 'heavy relic' finish very reminiscent of the GC Blackie Strats from a couple of years ago in terms of the relic'ing. All dings and wear are included down to the headstock cigarette burn! It's in dead mint, as-new condition, just a tad over 7lbs, and all the case candy, original hard shell case, are included. Tone-wise, this particular strat is very 'airy' sounding, very loud unplugged, and resonate. Lots of high-end but not harsh at all but acoustically tight and full sounding. By far, one of my favorite strats in the stable.

I'm asking $2800 which includes UPS 3-day select shipping. A 48hr approval period is included but shipped back at buyers expense (3-day UPS select). Paypal is preferred but will accept money orders, checks, and local pickup.

This is a real-deal custom shop heavy relic with all the feel of a 50 year old Stratocaster.

Awesome looking 2-tone sunburst heavy relic finish. Dings, scratches, checking all included!
57 Soft "V" neck profile
9.5" radius, 6105 frets, 3 custom shop pickups ('69 neck, fat 50's middle, and texas special bridge), 5-way switch, vintage style bridge, bone nut(width 1.650")
Weight is around 7.1lbs according to my digital bathroom scale.

Very cool. I am actually talking to a local guy about one that is very similar. His isn't as "heavy" of a relic though and not a NAMM edition. I would be interested in yours if I could swing it.

I'm not excited about selling it as it's one of the best strats I've owned. It's a featherweight and it just booms acoustically. I'm not sure if it's the maple neck or just all the right stars aligning on this one to make it sound the way it does... I've owned probably 6 or 7 strats over the past 10 years and this one takes the cake. Thanks for your comments and let me know if you are interested.

Vintage looking and feeling strat with modern fret board radius--Man, it doesn't get any better-

I had one of these and played on a couple others from the same run - they all sounded amazing and were great feeling strats too, unfortunately id jus bought my Suhr too though so i kept that instead! If id had the cash id happily buy yours off you though as i miss my old one, great vibe about them

I like it a lot bro. If I thought I could ebay something in time to "swap", I would seriously consider. But my luck, I'd sell something and right then someone would step up, that's always the way it happens. I like this one a LOT. I had my Deluxe for sale for two months and as soon as I got one bite, all the sudden everyone is interested.

Yeah man, I hear ya. It's a vicious circle aint' it? I really like this strat too and the few times I took it to band practice, it really made me smile. Super lightweight and the feel is really something on this guitar. It truly feels as broken-in as it looks.
