Marshall Vintage Modern 2266c 2x12 50w Combo
Back on the Market!
This is an excellent-condition Marshall Vintage Modern 2x12 50w 2266c Combo Amp. - 2x12 Celestion Speakers - the same ones from the Jimi Hendrix Reissue Stack - KT66 Tubes - Original - 50-watt - Footswitch - Reverb and Dynamic Range (Low/High) - Carry Handles (makes it VERY easy to get this up and down stairs, I have a much easier time with this than anything else). - PURPLE! Never gigged, only a couple tiny blemishes, original tubes, was bought originally from MusiciansFriend.com and delivered, and been home ever since. It's been relocated around my basement a couple times, otherwise just sat there. 15-20 Hours of play, all home volume. I had this listed, and had a buyer lined up, and then thought I might need it for a gig next month, but I bought another amp so this has never been gigged, and I need the cash. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's the deal, I MUST NET $750 AFTER ALL FEES. No trades. So my price is $750 PLUS the actual cost of paypal, and UPS Packing and shipping. If you're in Chicago or willing to come pick it up from me, fantastic. I will also take certified checks. UPS Packing = $50 UPS Shipping - Depends on where you live, figure $50-$100 depending. Shipping Insurance - this is up to you, I think it's cheap, like $7 or $10. PayPal - if you do their new gift option, then it's free, or an e-check is $5, or standard paypal is like 3.5%. I'll work it out with you. So regardless, you'll probably end up somewhere under $900, which is FAR cheaper than any of these on eBay or the forums. These are fairly rare, you never see them show up around here, and it's easily the best Marshall in years. The reviews aren't kidding, this amp sounds heavenly, and takes pedals better than any other amps I've owned (and I've had a lot). The KT66 tubes are awesome, and the one thing that makes me hesitate and not want to sell this, as I can't get this awesome tone out of my other amp, but I need the cash. If you're reading this, it's available, thanks! |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you hire me to do a fancy 3D illustration for you I would have enough money to buy your amp and you'd have something to stare at on your wall for hours, even days...while you're listening to Kashmir (good background music for my fantasy sci-fi city scapes) or other more esoteric Led Zep songs, or some Floyd...(shameless plug - view my art here: http://www.andylackow.com)... |
