FS: Early 70s Gibson ES-335TD in Cherry Sunburst - VERY clean!
For your pleasure, an extra clean original early-70s Gibson ES-335TD in rare Cherry Sunburst finish.
This guitar is extremely rare in that no pickup changes or modifications have been performed. The only modification comes from the tuning machines being upgraded to Grovers by a previous owner, which is commonplace on instruments of this era. This fine example has just the right amount of Mojo, with a little bit of finish checking and light rivet worming on the rear. All this combined with the limited fret wear create an authentic patina Murphy could only dream about. The headstock is as strong as the day it left Kalamazoo, having never suffered the indignation of a repair. The original trapeze tailpiece has never been removed. $3999/OBO Cash only. PayPal considered. Lower 48 only. If dreaming of Larry Carlton/Steely Dan or Eric Clapton/Cream keeps you awake at night, then this is the guitar for you. Hurry before she goes up on The Bay. |

What a beautiful guitar! I have a '73 I would never dream of parting with. Good luck with your sale.

A man's got to do what a man's got to do.
Actually, I've finally decided to get my self an R9. I'd consider a trade for a nice R9 in CSB with nice flame. Yummm. BC in CA |
