Re: The Official MLP FREE Pay it Forward Thread!

CLAIMED - going to Canada.

Got rid of my guitar with the gold hardware so I have the following set of pickups as a spare. PM me if you can put them to use. I will be glad to send them to you if you promise to post the pups that you replace on this forum for someone else to use.

Here's what I have:

Seymour Duncan SH-1 ('59) humbucker, gold with cover installed - rhythm
Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB humbucker, gold with cover installed - treble

These are great sounding pickups, well recognized as a good match for each other. Very versatile PAF vibe.

PM me if you can give them a good home and a chance to sing.

Re: The Official MLP FREE Pay it Forward Thread!

Actually not the same set. That set is installed in my son's Epi Custom. This is a set that I picked up at a guitar show in Houston as non-working. Had to replace the main lead on both of them to bring them back to life - and added some gold covers I had laying around.

It is a great set of pups that really sound great together. Because of my son's satisfaction with the set I got from you, I was going to experiment a bit with these, but I traded away my gold guitar, so I thought I'd let someone else put them to use.

Subscribe to Vintage Guitar Magazine. All the shows advertise in it in advance, plus, it's the coolest guitar mag out there!

Re: The Official MLP FREE Pay it Forward Thread!

Hi, here is a consolidated list of stuff I am offering (new stuff and stuff from previous posts):

- Black rail single-coil-humbucker. Neck position. Tons of lead (4-conductor). It was white, but was made black with marker. Looks great.

- Telecaster bridge pickup from unknown guitar.

- I have three white pickguards that I just received for a project. They don't fit my Strat body (hole pattern) so they are available to anyone who might need them.

- I also have various Strat and Gibson control knobs

- I also have a black fabric guitar strap

- I have two import Trem-backplates and an electronics plate cover

- I have a Strat/Tele neck plate (BLANK - no screws)

- Fender USA Zinc tremolo saddles

- I'll add that I have Stratocaster VTT knobs and a switch tip in CHROME (plastic).

- SSH brushed aluminum Stratocaster pickguard

- I have a few Strat and Tele switch tips in different colors

- I also have a bunch of input jacks and a few mini-switches (on-off-on and on-off)

Re: The Official MLP FREE Pay it Forward Thread!

I'm just saying because the shipping plus the drive to the mail are pretty much the price of the strings, and by the time you get them you couldve simply bought a pack

What? The guy getting the strings sits in his house and walks to his mailbox and BAM! there are a set of strings. There are no costs to him. What are you talking about???

I sent you 4 used pots which are probably worth less than these strings.
