The 71 is not for sale,i always trade and use to have a white 1990 Custom(which I got rid of,but I'm strangelly drawn to another one).If Bigjacko dosn't want to deal,I'll keep it.At the moment the pups are a Burstbucker in the bridge and a Phat Cat in the neck. I swap them around sometimes.

All original with no breaks. It does have laquer cracking about the body...aged the real way. Neck is a straight as an arrow. The flash makes the guitar look whiter than it is. It is starting to yellow nicely.

I'm interested in this guitar but don't have that kind of money at the moment - would you consider taking a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard (Desertburst) in part exchange?

Gibson Les Paul Special from 1995, headstock break pro repair, looks a slight dog, but sounds massive,some knocks and scuffs here and there, but the rear is in surprisingly excellent nick, Ray Cooper Custom P90 in the Bridge as opposed to the stock P100 it came with.
Looking for £450.00 or trades for a nice telecaster.
I wrote to Ray to confirm the stories I'd read about the guitar being Owned by Mick Ralphs and Dave Collwell and subsequently used on Bad Company recordings, here is his reply to my email:

Hello Richard,
I did work for Mick and Bad Company for years.
Dave Collwell bought the guitar from Mick and was recording
at Virgin Studios in Shipton upon Sherwell with Bad Co. for part of
the album in 1996, Stories Told and Untold. This guitar was used on the album.
The pick-up was made by Lucy, my daughter when the one in the special broke
down during recording. She made it in that afternoon and we delivered it to the
manor before teatime, ready to record with it later.
When it was tested in the sound room Stevie Rays guitar man turned to me and
said, nice sound man, it was Lucys!.
I hope this has given you some good news.

Strings Direct / Holiday Music / Lefties was broken into on saturday night and the following were stolen - personally I think they just grabbed what was closest to the door not realising they were some of the rarest guitars in the UK (being lefties) and will be incredibly hard to shift...

Hi guys I have very kindly been left a budda SuperDrive 30 Series 2 112 combo point to point hand wired tube amplifier by my unkle who passed, he told me to either keep it or use it to help me get a Gibson les Paul that I have always wanted :-)

The amp is only a couple of months old but isn't really suited to the music that I'm playing, I've checked online and they are selling for over £1700
I'm open to offers of an exchange or cash?

Yeah that is the same amp, if you go on guitar amp and keyboards website there selling them for over £1700 also there is one on eBay for £1000 that is well used and has some damage where as my one is like new still
