WTS/WTT Fender MIM Baja Tele

Recently got a Fender MIM Baja Telecaster off the forum, however I've decided to sell it for new gear. I got the frets on this guitar recrowned two weeks ago, along with a setup done. It feels amazing and sounds great, and weighs about 7lbs. Here are the pics from the previous owner, they're better quality since I only have a cellphone camera. Also the MSRP of these went up by 30% recently so this will be a great deal.

There is a crack in the finish and small dent in the pickgaurd under the neck. Crack in the finish is shown and there is also a small crack by the bottom strap button. More pics of the damage will be up soon.

I'm looking for a small tube combo amp (like a Fender Blues Junior), pedals or cash, or pretty much anything guitar related. Paypal is the only method of payment accepted.

Post up your offers! and feel free to ask me questions.

Serial Number is MZ6277128 - a 2006 model

If I decide to go by cash I'll go by Best Offer

Would you trade for a silverburst Agile SG?

Re: WTS/WTT Fender MIM Baja Tele

Hmm... for fun, I've got a Epi Les Paul Standard Plustop in Honeyburst with a dulled finish, Seymour Duncan 59s (with a mag flip in the neck), a B-5 bigsby kit, a Crate v18 112, an Epi Valve Jr with mods, etc.

Anything sound interesting? Even if it does, I'd have to think about it.

Is your VJ stock? Mine has orange drop caps, a clean/dirty switch, and a few other things. She hasn't arrived yet, but I've heard this amp with similar mods and it just kills.

pics of the LP? what mods did you do to the Epi and is it a combo or half stack?

I'm just looking for a new sound. I love the tele but I was playing this:
with my SG and I got a perfect tone out of that Blues Junior. I'd probably be jus as happy with a OD pedal and 10 band EQ, but a new amp would be nice.

Re: WTS/WTT Fender MIM Baja Tele

I just weighed it on my bathroom scale, although its not very accurate I got just about 7lbs, so my guess was right. It's the same weight as my Gibson SG

Re: WTS/WTT Fender MIM Baja Tele

Mine is the 5w combo. Plenty loud, but not too heavy to tote around.

I can get some pics of the Epi later tonight. It's stock except for the SD59s with a mag flip in the neck. The bridge pup has a chrome cover and the neck is double black. I dulled the finish off on it because of some REALLY deep scratches and gouges. A decent polish would bring back most of the shine, but the main thing I wanted was to remove the dents, dings, and gouges.

No need to explain the finish DJ, looks come second to playability for me. It could look like shit but as long as it sounded/played well I wouldn't care. I have the 5w combo too and in comparison to the Blues Junior the thing sounds dead. Any sound clips of the modded one?

I love the way the Epi plays, its actually very nice. And the mag flip makes an interesting tone, I just don't really care for it. The tone not the guitar.

Both are double black to the best of my knowledge. The neck pup used to have a cover so there is a fair bit of wax left on it... you could cover it and be good to go.

The Epi would come with a rectangular roadrunner case.
