WTB a bass (electric). 4 or 5 string is fine, but I only want to deal locally.

WANTED: CHERRY SUNBURST CR8. That would be a chambered historic. Looking for a flame top (No BBQ's, please) irregular ribbon flame. Big neck~no problem.
(I'd love to see another flame top from the 04 run come out, but any year is cool).
Give me a ballpark of what you want. Pick-up in many east coast states = cash in your hand.

I want a cheap ass Squier Telecaster if anyone has one hanging around in either black, white or yellow will do. Let's see what you have. Thanks!

How about this:
made from a saga kit. I sold these for a while. held two back. both had two piece bodys and superior necks.
This is painted ford f100 pearl white.
neck is fast and hot. truss rod works perfectly. upgraded tuners.
If you don't like the usa guard.. I'll swap it out. If you prefer the tele style headstock, I'll recut it and refinish it that way.
They go for about 120.00 on ebay shipped.
The paint cost me, and I built it myself, and I have a shop so I know what I'm doing.

the control plate is reversed so it's volume tone switch.. the cap is sprague orange drop.
The tuners are imports but as good as any squier.. very solid, sealed.
I'll put a strat type neck pickup in it if you prefer.
no charge for any changes.

It's brand new. It's solid! it plays fast. It sounds like a tele all the way.
cheap neck pickup was swapped out, too, as the saga neck pups on these are stinkeroo. The bridge pup is fine though, nothing wrong there.
160.00 with gig bag!

nobody has ever returned or been unhappy with my guitars, saga or otherwise.

I'm currently refinishing this one:

I have a squier tele here.. it's my sons. either of these are every bit as good playing and sounding and I think they look as good, too.

re: Want to buy/searching for thread

I would like a solid wood (no plywood) Tele body in white, Oly white, off white or any color resembling a whitish hue, lol. I would consider a Fender Aerodyne body too (these only come in black)

I have a project in mind and I have a Mexican Fender strat neck and I have a plan. It doesn't have to be in mint condition, i'd rather it be a little on the well used side.

I want to put a black guard on it and put a P-90 in the neck and a hot tele bridge pU in it.

I would also like a Black Fender Strat body, preferably one of the newer Highway 1 Nitro finished bodies. I want it to have a vintage style trem. It could be a standard Mexican body but I do not want a bright, new, shiny black body. I want something that looks used, not beat to hell just not brand new looking.

I am actually always tinkering with building up a strat, I would consider any body you have but don't take it personal if I don't want it.

I would like a set of vintage style locking tuners for a strat as well. Not Schallers, I want Klusion style locking tuners.

I am really not into spending much money right now and I have a few other things I would be willing to part with in some sort of trade deal. Bad thing is, what I have for trade is worth quite a bit more than what I am looking for right now.

I have a usa made Fender Hot Rod Deluxe that is in real good shape. It has no mods and has the factory speaker but it has been re-tubed with J.J.'s. The amp is in reag good shape but it has 1 small pucker (not a hole, but a blemish in the grill) If my memory serves me correctly it has a small blemish or two in the tolex but I have to take it out and look at it. The only real problem I know of with this amp is the "Normal/Bright" switch doesn't work smoothly. It works when you push it down but it doesn't snap back quickly, it takes about half a second to pup back up. I have used contact cleaners and got it working but I think it might have something that gunked it up at one time.

I have had this amp for several years and I was going to go crazy and do all of the mods on this amp and put in a new speaker and I decided not to. It works great as it is, I just don't use it that much. I use my Peavey Delta Blues most of the time and I have a few other ideas when it comes time to replace the HRD if I sell it.

I also have a N.O.S. 2005 Black American Strat. It has all the original stickers on it but when I bought it I didn't receive the case candy it. I do have the trem arm. I bought this to use as a platform to do some major modding and now I have another idea. I would trade this or sell it outright. I have even though about parting it out as the neck is pretty sweet.

I have a set of M.I.M. strat pickups from an early 90's strat. I believe I have some other parts and pieces like a M.I.M. vintage style strat trem.

WTB complete fretboard

For a project I'm looking for a complete fretboard, bound, inlayed and fretted. Preferably with trapeze inlays. Where can I find one, or does anyone want to part with one. Otherwise I'll take the plunge and try to make one myself.

Re: WTB complete fretboard

I think you have a better shot at getting a complete neck rather than fretboard, as binding the fretboard and fretting it are things that are done once the fretboard has been glued down to the neck.

No, you can bind the fretboard before it's glued. Actually, I prefer to do that.
