Re: WTT: Mexican Fender Fat Strat (call me crazy)!

Not ready to offer it for sale just yet. I know that there are some forum members that have this guitar (some of which are already modded). If I don't get any offers I'll add for sale. Most likely $300 + shipping.

WTT for 1959 Les Paul RI - I've got GEAR

I'm looking to trade for a Gibson Les Paul R9. I would prefer a Murphy, but would look at some VOS guitars. NO CHERRY SUNBURST. I really like the Tobacco, Ice Tea, etc. You can check out some of my gear at my photobucket. Most, but not ALL, of my gear that's up for sale or trade is either Brand New Unplayed or in New Condition with almost no play time.

Pictures by toddf007 - Photobucket

For the right Murphy I would even trade my Modern Eagle 1.

Re: WTT for 1959 Les Paul RI - I've got GEAR

Some of that gear makes me wish I had one to trade you. Then again, if I had a '59 RI I don't know how willing I'd be to part with it. Nice collection.

I have this exact same guitar in burgundy. Same year. Same model. I gotta tell you these things are solid. What's not to like? I have to tell you when I was looking for my first guitar I was looking for a white, HSS. Never found one so I wound up with what I have now.

Even though the HSS is a great guitar, I just picked up a 2004 Epiphone Joe Perry Boneyard the other day. (I posted pics in the Epiphone section.)

I'm very new to guitar so I don't have enough experience as to what other guitars can give you outside of what your HSS can't. But I will tell you this: after having my HSS for a few months, I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. I just sound too good.

I'm with ya. It's a great guitar. I love the neck pickup with the black panel setting on my microcube. I've owned both S/S/S and H/S/S and perfer the H/S/S. I'm just ready to move back to Humbuckers. Thanks for the bum though!

Re: The Trading Post

Looking for a Dunolp Wah.
Have a matched quad of JJ EL84 tubes. Some other tubes also.
It does not have to work. Just be complete.

Just took these off of my '72 Deluxe. Not really sure of the year on them, as the pups were changed. I can never remember how to read pot codes. I'm looking for some new pots or any other nickel LP hardware.
