the only reason i would consider this is because my lp's get ALL the play.
i will definitely own a strat again, but for now i think i can part with it for a sweet tube amp.

Details:

Sienna Sunburst ash body
Fender Special Design Vintage Noiseless pickups
Maple C shape neck and 9.5" radius
22 medium-jumbo frets
2-point trem with stainless steel saddles
Fender/Schaller staggered height tuners

thanks guys
seriously the only color on strats ive ever liked.

re: The Trading Post

I've got a few things that I'd trade if the right deal came along...

Marshall Vintage/Modern 50w head, like new barely used

Splawn 4x12 cab with casters, G12's in it, sounds killer

Marshall 4x10 cab, not sure of the speakers off hand, g10's mabye?

Sovtek Mig 50 head with master volume mod

1970's Twin Reverb Silverface

1961 Gretsch Corvette(before they got pointy) with a 65 filtertron, gibson bridge and tailpiece.

Palo Escrito Mexican Tele with Rio Grande Texas Tallboy pups

Fulltone GT-500 overdrive/distortion

I'm interested in LP Goldtops, Deluxes, a Classic Custom, or Wine Red Custom, an older Jr or Special, older Bassman 50 head, THD heads, Matchless or Dr Z combos, Divided by 13 Heads

Open to other stuff too though.

Damn, now I wish I had something more to trade. Been wanting a BR player for a while and even if I'd need a voltage converter that one would be perfect.

re: The Trading Post

That Sienna Burst Strat is sweet. I love those things, they are really nice guitars.

I have a brand new 2005 American Series strat with a fender hard case that I would trade. I bought this guitar because my first strat back in the day was a black strat with a maple neck and I got a deal on this one. This guitar is stock other than I put a set of Schaller Locking tuners that I had laying around on it. Other than checking it out to make sure it played well and setting it up for 10's, this guitar hasn't been played by me. I have had it for several months, it was N.O.S. in a shop.

I was going to hot rod it like I did my old strat by putting a Floyd Rose and a couple of humbuckers in it. After some thought about how much I would have invested in this guitar after buying a new pickguard, a Floyd and a couple of good humbuckers, I decided I would get rid of this guitar and buy a Charvel or a Jackson with a Floyd Rose.

I would consider a trade for anything interesting. I have 3 other strats so I'm not really looking for a strat. (but if it's a cool one, hey, u never know) I am looking for something with P-90's. I like the USA made Epiphone Spirit double cuts. A beater Les Paul that is structurally sound might work. I like Les Paul Double Cuts and Specials as well as SG's.

I like good tube amps too.

How about a straight trade for a new Les Paul Special Faded DC? It's got about everything you're asking for: LP, P-90's, Double Cut, and Special.

re: The Trading Post

scmavl,

If that was one of the gloss versions, you would have a deal. I have never been able to get attached to the faded DC's. They made gloss versions of your guitar. They didn't have a bound fretboard or inlays but they were a nice, smooth glossy finish and they weren't that much more than the faded models. They also made single cut, glossy versions of your guitar too. I would be interested in one of those too.

Do you have a case for it? I am sort of interested. Being a faded, i don't think a straight up trade is quite what I am after. I have thought about getting a faded DC and spraying a few more coats of lacquer on it to gloss it up.

That is absolutely a nice guitar and I don't mind the faded finish on the body. It's the back of the neck where the open grain bothers me.

Let me know about the case and i'll think about it.

re: The Trading Post

Blues,
That's funny, as I had decided if I got yours, I'd strip it & refinish it nitro Daphne Blue or Surf Green! So we both like the bare bones of each others guitars. The LP came with a gig bag, however I'll give you the case I use for my '77 LP Special DC instead. It's aftermarket, but a nice hardshell (not crappy Musicians Friend brand quality). I'll throw in $50 to sweeten the deal for you as well. You can email me at gredandforgerock@gmail.com to continue discussions. Thanks.

Also, here's the back if you didn't see it in my other classified post. The fret edges were filed and the neck smoothed & oiled (did NOT change the shape, just knocked off the finish) and now it's the fastest neck I own.

scmavl,

what the hell did you have to go and post a picture of the back for, lol.

Now you have me thinking, lol. You didn't go ahead and put binding on the fretboard did you

Sure I did, and installed original Bumblebee caps and solid gold tuners with pure platinum keys on it.

Nope, everything else is stock. Let me know soon if possible, as I was just offered a good deal on a '57 Reissue strat but I'd rather do this deal with you.

re: The Trading Post

have a couple items for trade..

1 `06 Epi Les Paul Classic

the Epi has been upgraded with BB Pro's Zebra's, Chrome Pup rings, Gibson Switch, Speed knobs, and the orig owner said he changed the bridge but not the stop tail..

action is fast and low, neck is straight as can be..

back is clean no swirls, rash or anything, this thing is like new..

would like to trade this for a Combo amp, or a nice Fender

2 Dime Crybaby from Hell

like new in the box, I tried it a couple times and I guess I'm not much of a wah person

would love to trade this for a EH Holy Grail, or another reverb pedal, or some other effects hit me up..

please PM me for any offers or questions..

re: The Trading Post

I have a USA Fender Hot Rod Deluxe I'm thinking of trading. New tubes only have a few hours on them, also has a Celestion Legend 12" & wheels installed. Overall in great shape, very small snag in the grill but nothing major or a hole.
Guitar trades welcome,maybe another head.

I have references if needed,eBay 1155+ 100% positives
