Re: The Trading Post
I have a brand new Fender Deluxe gig bag for trade. It is exactly the same as the stock photo below. This was used to bring a new Strat home from the store and nothing else so it is in as new condition (and that Strat was brought home 48 hours ago so the bag is still brand new).
I am not really certain what I want in trade so anyone who wants it can just shoot me offers to see if anything strikes my fancy. I am interested in overdrive pedals and could add cash if necessary to make a trade work. One thing I would kill for is a set of modern chrome/steel aftermarket saddles that will fit a MIM Fender Strat (2 1/16 string spacing).

Re: The Trading Post
I've got a saddle from a Strat that I'm not using. I'm not sure on what model Strat from which it came (Mexican, USA, BFE), hence the measuring tape for you to see.
Not realy sure what I want in trade, maybe a cheap case for my Strat, or a gig bag. I'm open to other things as well.

If the mounting holes have a wider spread than the string holes, then it will fit a USA Highway One Strat and the MIM 50s reissues. They both use this style. Then there is the vintage style where both mounting holes and the string space holes are the same spread, however mounting holes center to center is 2 3/16( AKA 2 7/32inch). BTW - Best place for this info is Callaham's website. explains compatibility of the trems

Re: The Trading Post
Hey everyone. Just an idea I thought I'd throw out there.
I've got two really nice playing '94 Centennial year Studios. One in Black, one in Wine red, both with gold hardware. I'd like to trade them for a Les Paul Custom, preferably a player or beater. Headstock breaks, pro refins, refrets - all welcome! I'd also possibly consider a Classic Custom. Both guitars were made very close together in Gibson's Centennial year of 1994. It is well known and often mentioned by current and former Gibson builders that between 1990-1995/6 Some of the best modern Les Pauls were made. They were said to have a really solid crew at the time, and the wood selection and attention to detail was especially good. Both of them have the special serial # starting with "94" Here's a rundown of the mods: - Both of them have Wilkinson Grover-style tuners, which I find really smooth and nice feeling compared to most Grovers under $100. - I've semi-flush-mounted Dunlop traditional straplocks into both guitars. This basically makes it so it looks and functions like a normal strap button, and has less torque on the screw when using the straplocks. I like this because it feels more natural and if I forget my straplock-equipped strap to a gig or practice the buttons work very well, as they are about the size of a Charvel/Jackson strap button. -Both are wired 50's style with NOS Russian PIO Caps - .022B/.015N - Also, both guitars have had the pickups replaced and put under the original covers with the original polepieces. Each has a Duncan in the neck and a DiMarzio in the bridge (Models listed below in my Sig.) I still have the original pickups for both guitars (498T/490R), as well as one set of original tuners and one set of original strap buttons. Both have Gibson hardshell cases (One Brown/Pink, one Black/Grey). Condition-wise they're not case queens but they're not abused either - both of them have some wear from normal gigging. I'll take some detailed pics tomorrow, hopefully we get some sunshine here on the island...but probably not For now, here's them in a group pic. Note: this pic was before I installed the Wilkinsons in the Wine Red one, and the black one now has no stickers. Also, the bridge pickup now has the cover and gold polepieces.

Re: The Trading Post
Any musician, artist or band willing to trade a Gibson Studio or Standard for web design services? No bull, trading services for a Studio or Standard in excellent condition, hopefully flame top. I've encountered many musicians with extra instruments that they can't sell in a crowded market but they could definitely benefit from some web presence. If interested please email me. I'm in the Seattle area but can make arrangements for shipping if the guitar is right.

I've got a new bigsby B6GLH that I'm looking to trade for a B3LH. Gold is not for me, and the B6 doesn't fit on the guitar I was hoping to put it on. I may consider a cash offer, PM if interested.

Re: The Trading Post
I am looking for a nickel tail piece and bridge for my DC standard-it has a nashville bridge on it-
Considering doing one of the ABR conversions-or putting some of the after market locking bridge pins in etc- I am converting all of the gold to nickel, as the gold on the honey burst with such a wild flame top is just too busy- I have some aged nickel grovers for it- If you have some nickel hardware, let me know what it is-- I have some stuff to trade--and I am always willing to trade CASH for stuff-
