FS: Carvin DC127T (Hate to let this one go...)
For Sale: Carvin DC127T in excellent condition. Killer guitar, fastest neck I've played. The stats are below, above the pictures. No trades, please, as I need to sell it because I just bought a PRS and need to fund it somehow. This was my number one for years and I did play out with it, though the last 7 years it hasn't left my house (mostly because I haven't been in a band or playing out with other people in the last 7 years. Work and family will do that to you...). There's one small indentation below the volume knob that I tried to capture in a couple of the pictures, and the high gloss finish shows a lot of dust, but it's in excellent condition, with super low action. The maple neck shows a bit of figuring, and the guitar has been professionally set up with.010-.046 gauge strings. Tonally it's brighter than a Les Paul but fatter and nastier than a Strat. With the coils split you can get some good twang going. It won't replace your Tele but it will cover for it if you don't like switching guitars between songs. Very easy playing guitar.
Here are the stats: -Maple neck through alder body, with no heel. Outrageous upper fret access. -Ebony fingerboard, nice and dark. -The neck is quite thin, it reminds me of the old PRS wide/thin necks. It's comparable to, maybe a touch thinner than, the 60s neck on my Gibson ES-333 -24 Stainless Steel jumbo frets -Abalone dot inlays -Dunlop Strap Locks -Sperzel Locking Tuners -TUSQ nut -Carvin C22 pickups give a good classic rock/hard rock tone -Rounded body edges, tummy cut, and inclined upper bout make this very comfortable to play -Very nice Tobacco Sunburst finish -Wilkinson Tremolo. I've never had any trouble keeping it in tune and I've gone nuts with the whammy bar a few times. This is a good trem. -All black hardware to match the sunburst -Heavy-duty tweed case with all of the case candy, including maintenance instructions, etc. -Made in the USA Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I seriously hate to let this one go and wouldn't if I didn't have to. New from Carvin's site, it's $1013 + shipping. It can be yours for $600, I will cover PP and shipping to the lower 48 US states. I've sold a bunch of stuff here and on TGP, and I have 100% feedback on ebay (jfw6769). Thanks for checking it out!
