FS: 2004 Gibson LP Standard in Ebony

Good condition, 60's neck, has amazing tone and incredible sustain. It's seriously one of the best LPs I've ever played, but I just can't bond with the 60's neck shape. I've tried for 3 months now and I think it's time to let it go to someone who will love the neck shape as much as the tone and other great things this guitar has to offer.

I don't really know what to list it at because I haven't checked prices recently so feel free to make me an offer. You can post on here or PM me, doesn't matter, I'll try to check both. Highest offer gets the guitar, it's that simple. Hope this beautiful baby finds a loving home!

It has ALL the original paperwork including warranty and even the Gibson user manual. I love all my guitars and treat them well. They are adult owned and kept in a smoke free, child free, pet free environment.

Here is a link to some pictures I took of it. It has some smudges on the front, but if you want I can take pictures showing you what it looks like cleaned up, because it is in good physical condition, no real scratches at all. Nothing through the paint and the back only has a few buckle indentations, but again, nothing through the paint.

Ebony LPs with zebras look awesome

If I were in the market I'd be all over this. Good luck with the sale.

Maybe I should post a sound clip so you can hear this bad boy in action. Then I'll probably have people jumping all over it.

Re: FS: 2004 Gibson LP Standard in Ebony

I bumped this and the 2008 Ebony Std. I was ready to buy the 2008-yours would need real clean-up and more pictures for me to consider it too. The other went $1350 shipped. It was in essentially new condition.

PS- $1300 shipped is my tops for this one IF it cleans up very well- so use that as your guide to how much cleaning/polishing you do-plus I am also looking on ebay ad other venues. It does look like it would clean up well-certainly not a second-class guitar. PM-if you wish. Thanks.

SORRY-- I'm out of the running-major truck repair killed any discretionary spending. Still you should polish it so it is at its best.

Yep, sure is! Lovely grain on it too. Has some grain lines that almost run parallel with the strings.
