J. Nunis Traditional
More for trade than for sale is a Nunis Traditional. KILLER axe, better than any LP style I've played except for an R9 Stinger that I played at a local music shop. Killed the R8s, R7s and other R9s in the place. I tried my damned hardest to love LP's cause I love the look of them but, I find I play better on Strat style axes.
Mahogany body with figured maple cap, mahogany neck with Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. Rolph 59 Pretender pickups, low output and sound fantastic. The neck isn't baseball bat thick but has a nice chunk to it, defnitely not a 60's style neck. Pickup rings are cracked down the middle, hardly noticeable but if it's a deal breaker, I'll buy some and have them delivered to you. From what I've gathered from Nunis enthusiasts, this one was hand built by Jim Nunis before he passed away, and was used as a show model to bring around to potential dealers. The top was carved by hand using a grinder to shape the radius and was finished in nitro. I've got the black with white bevel truss rod cover and also the original Nunis hard case, which is fairly beat up but serves its purpose. Anyways, some pics; ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Looking to trade for: USA Jackson (preferably HSS) ESP Japan(no LTD) Fender Select Strats Nice Ibanez Hit me up with anything not LP style(only 6 string guitars though) Suhr Anything that I consider MUST have a humbucker in the bridge position!
