2000 R6 Goldtop For Sale
2000 model year
You'll get 2 sets of PUPs. The Sheptones (in the R6 now) and the stock p-90s. Here's a few details: The Bad: There are a few minor dings. Its a twelve year old historic! It was owned by a touring musician prior to me so the case does have a couple of small scrapes, but nothing big. The good: Plays friggin awesome. Nice chunky neck like my R8. Sheptones. Many of you on this forum this custom PUP builder. If not check him out. Guitar Pickups, Humbucker Pickups, Custom Pickups, Sheptone Makes custom wound PUPs for some good players. Stock Pups if you want to go back to stock Look at those inlays!!!! Are they Celluloid? They sure aren't the snot green inlays that you usually see. Check out the comparison photo. Of one of my other historics with snot green inlays. This R6 has the best inlays I've owned. The board is really nice too! Just set up, great intonation and action. Excellent gold color If you like Neil Young, this guitar nails his tone. I play it through my 1959 original Fender Champ and a 5e3 clone and have a blast. Not a fire sale, and don't have to part with it, but I've picked up a few more Les Pauls and time for one or two to move on to new owners. $2250 shipped CONUS and paypal'd. |

Thanks for all of the interest so far! Several of you have asked in PMs so I thought I'd post... the weight of the Gibson R6 is 8.9 lbs using my digital fish scale (no the scale has never been used on fish - bought it new and has only been used to weigh guitars!)
