FS/FT: Aiken Invader 18 Mk I 1x12 Combo w Scumback

I recent guitar purchase requires a sale of one of my favorite amps of all time, my Aiken Invader 18 Mk I 1x12 combo. I've got a like new Scumback H55 in it which suits the amp quite well. It's in great shape. Only tolex issues are on the bottom on the back and shown in the last picture.

There's a lot of Aiken fans here with good cause. This amp is built like a tank and is capable of a ton of great rock and jazzy tones.

My understanding is that Randall discontinued building this model because it was too expensive to build. That's just a rumor.

This is the Mk I. I don't all of the differences b/t it and the Mk II. Hopefully someone who reads this can reply. From memory, the Mk II has internal jumping of bright and normal channels; the Mk I requires a jumper cable. I also believe there are more features on this than the Mk II but I'm not sure which.

Highlights of this amp (which IMO separate it from most if not all in this category):

1. Built in attenuation that really works. I don't like the "bedroom" setting but everything before it works wonderfully in cutting some volume and headroom. I've gigged it twice and used it in the middle setting (two clicks of attenuation).
2. Great three knob reverb that give you a ton of tonal flexibility.
3. "Plexi/Ali" switch. This switch configures the preamp section to match either the warmer early "plexi/Bassman" style preamp circuits or the later and brighter "aluminum panel" circuits.

The owner's manual for the Mk II for more can be found here: http://www.aikenamps.com/InvaderMKIIManual.pdf

Pictures below.

Price is $1850 delivered CONUS. Deductions: $75 if you prefer a Helltone speaker (which also sounds awesome); $100 if you want no speaker; $100 for local pickup in NJ (I'll drive a little to make this happen as I hate shipping amps); $50 for cash or paypal gift.

Trade items must include a significant cash payment. Only thing that will interest me is a quality grab n go amp of 12 watts or less or an "English" style head of 20 watts or less.

PM or email me (jimicoltrane at gmail dot com) if you want it. Post questions so I can reply to all who are interested.
