For trade.2005 Les Paul Standard Faded & two Roadworns

I have three real nice guitars that I am thinking of trading.I am currently looking for a darkburst G0 or en Es 335. I am in no hurry to trade these out. I am simply putting this out there to anyone who may have what I want. The guitars I have are as follows.

1.Fender Road Worn 50s Tele. Perfect shape.alder with sunburst nitro finish.Original Gig bag. Set up by Third Coast Guitars.Awesome.650

2.Fender Road Worn 60s Strat. Upgraded bone nut.Gibson gig bag. Set up by Guitar works in Morengo. Great sounding and playing instrument.600

3.2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded.50s neck. Nice flame.I am the original owner of this guitar. These are fantastic instruments that have very little nitro lacquer. In 2006, they started chambering.Mine is not.1700

Upgrades include, Dimarzio Paf Classics, Real Bumblebee caps. Real Cts pots,Aluminum Tailpiece, Historic pickup rings.Faber abr-59 bridge(these are made to historic Abr-1 specs, Way better for tone transfer. This includes the studs that bore into the body. You can get more info on this by researching cvguitars.com.)Historic knob pointers. A very well played, yet taken care of instrument.I have had a few historics. This guitar is more "in your face" than that. It is very resonant, yet even toned. I would do a two for one deal, but will do three for one for the right guitar.I would prefer a face to face deal. I live in the Chicagoland area.

Re: For trade.2005 Les Paul Standard Faded & two Roadworns

Bump for a bro.

Dan's a good guy, a close friend for 20 years & these guitars are very nice, good playing guitars. The paul is a smoking player with a sweet tone, I would take it but I have too many guitars with not enough storage. Whoever gets this will be very happy.

Re: For trade.2005 Les Paul Standard Faded & two Roadworns

It is one of the first batch. I got it from Guitar Center when they first came out. Those buffoons had no chance to even set it up. It was still in the box when I bought it.I relearned how to play on that guitar.I got my hands on a G0 and fell in love. The G0 almost seems like it was designed for my hands and ear.My perfect guitar. I traded a R8 for it and never looked back. The serial on the G0 is G0 7001.That's right, the first one to come out of the Custom Shop in 07. The first at full Historic spec(according to Gibson when I called them up).Since then, I have been dying for a Darkburst sister. That fade by the belly just gets me going! The Standard Faded has a real nice open , yet aggressive tone. When I was modding it, I was taking notes from Larry Corsa and you fine folks on the forum. She has had the Virtuoso treatment,She has some dings. But this guitar is killer.I will miss her for sure.

Re: For trade.2005 Les Paul Standard Faded & two Roadworns

I probably would do one of the Roadworns and the Lester for a pre 07 G0.I would do all three outright for the right guitar.I have seen a few of these with some flame.......

Re: For trade.2005 Les Paul Standard Faded & two Roadworns

50s style. Nice and fat. I tried a 60s neck and hated it. I plugged in the 50s an viola! The sound! The G0 is a different animal altogether.I would love to see a thinskin reissue someday. Best of both worlds. The lack of plasticizer and all those coats really helps these guitars sing. The only reason I am getting rid of this guitar is that I found what works for me and my short, fat fingers.I am taking better pics.More to come.

Re: For trade.2005 Les Paul Standard Faded & two Roadworns

A few more details about the guitars. The Les Paul has a chrome input cover. There is a wear spot that is long and thin by the binding. This is very common and caused by my arm.Call her on her way to being a sweet relic. The Strat came with a real nice Gibson Gig bag. The Tele is the original Fender Gig bag. I would take 600 each for the roadworns and 1700.00 for the Lester.I have a paypal as well as an Ebay account with 100% positive feedback.
