2001 Gibson Gothic Explorer Used For Sale

The first version of the Gibson Gothic Explorer purchased by me from musiciansfriend.com in 2001.
It has an awesome ebony fretboard with the moon crescent inlay on the 12th fret.
Mahagony/1959 Les Paul Neck, satin black finish and Black Chrome Tune-O-Matic/Stop Bar and grover kidney tuners on the headstock.Pups are 496R ceramic magnet and 500T ceramic magnet which came stock on the guitar. Includes the brown leather Gibson USA case in came in. This guitar is great for hard rock/metal.

Has some minor nicks on the body, pick scratches which actually are not as bad as the pic with flash suggests, small nicks on the headstock due to it being played normally on stage. The guitar has no issues at all other than those nicks which I tried capturing with the photos. Hardware and electronics are in perfect working condition and the ebony fretboard has been cared for with every string change. It currently has a mirrored pickguard installed but I do have the original black pickguard also. If need be I can switch it back.

I'm selling because I have a Les Paul Standard on layaway and need the extra cash to finish paying it. My price $750 which is NEGOTIABLE.

id pay but i only have stock options on a company that doesnt exist yet :P

she is a beauty for sure, im actually a little(more than a little) in love with that model, just completely cash strapped right now...earlier in the year was a lot better for me.
