Back up for sale, is this 1996 Gibson SG-I in Wine Red. I had a lot of cool trade offers, but I'd like to sell outright. It is all original and unmodified, except for the addition of chrome Schaller strap lock buttons. It has a nice wide and thick rounded D Shape 50's neck with factory Schaller tuners and the U.S. flag under the lacquer on the back of the headstock. It also has a 24 fret rosewood fretboard(that's right, 2 full octaves!). These came with a Gibson 500T pickup and a coil split mini-toggle. The 500T is the highest output humbucker that Gibson put out. This thing screams. If you run this into your tube amp, you'll start hearing overdrive at about 4! In humbucker mode, it's very full sounding. In single coil mode, it's very Telecaser like in tone. The finish is in great shape. No buckle rash or worming on the back. The only sign of wear is some pick swirling under the strings. The previous owner must have been an aggressive picker. The guitar will ship with the case shown.
