FS ... Wolfetone DR V's w/ DMC ver2 PAF covers !!!
OK , MLP'ers ... I have for sale a remarkable set of pickups !!! I'm selling the Wolfetone DR V's out of my R8 " Sybil " ... I hate to part with these but I have some amazing vintage parts on the way and some things just have to go !!! This is a an amazingly sweet PAF clone set with alnico 2 magnets !!! They are double whites ! But wait it gets even better ... These have the DMC version 2 PAF covers in polished nickle , lightly aged by myself !!! The regular Wolfie's come with the version 1 covers which are raw , These are as close to a real PAF as your ever gonna get !!! These pups nail every tone your looking for !!! and more !!! DR V's are $270 new on Wolfe's site ... and the DMC covers cost me $105 from Dave's guitar !!! .......... My price for MLP members only ... $300 shipped anywhere !!!

I'm not pressing the issue because my replacement pups aren't here yet !!! But if anyone is interested ... Please feel free to PM me ... I think i'm going to be selling them without the covers now !!!! So anyone who wants them just Double White ... No covers ... I will charge $220 ... Shipped , in the USA only ........
 These are $270 on the Wolfetone site !!!!!!!!!

I have a set of these in the Gold Top I got off this forum. That Gold Top also has the RS pot mods. I'm going to do a tone report on it soon, but I will say if anybody is on the fence GET THESE PICK-UPS! I cannot say it is just the pick-ups, but that GT rings through with by far the most clarity of any LP I have, have had, or have played. The tones are just more clear. And when you open the volume pot you get an awesome growl that comes in that makes you forget the rest of the world. They also have balls on the bass side.
These are just a great purchase. I'm going to scan around to see if I've got anything I would sub them in, so if you're thinking about getting these, get a groove on!
