FS: Composite Acoustics Xi $1300 shipped

This is a 2007 Composite Acoustics Xi.

These were made by the Composite Acoustics guitar company in Louisiana. That company went out of business and was bought by Peavey. This guitar was made before the acquisition.

Composite Acoustic guitars are unique in that they are impervious to weather. You could play this guitar in the rain and it would be just fine. There is no truss rod because it isn't needed. The guitars are made from carbon fiber. They have stainless steel fret wires that will never wear out because the frets are harder than strings.

This guitar sounds great when used for recording. I have a demo on my soundclick page.

The reason I'm selling it is because I have an electric in my sights and I'd prefer to pay cash instead of layaway. However, if this ax doesn't sell, that's okay too.

$1300 will have this ax at your door via USPS Priority mail. That's it. No more. Very fair price.

Comes with the original case.

I have a CA cargo and I had a CA X performer and I will confirm that these are great guitars.
I tried selling mY X performer for $1200 and didn't get any bites I then offffered it for trade without any luck either. I figured let me see what GC will give me on a trade. Suprisingly GC gave me $1200 on a trade. So if you have no luck on the sale check with them you might be suprised like I was.

These are pre-peavey, they were built here in Lafayette LA and are awesome guitars. they are worth way more than the asking price and are nearly indestuctible, stays in tune forever and takes weather changes like a champ! I dont know what peavey is selling them for but they are definitelty worth the asking price. I own one and would not sell it. this is my opinion.

Thanks! I wanted to price it low so I could get just enough money to pay for the axe I have in mind and someone could get a killer deal on a great guitar.

These guitars sound great. The thing is that I just don't play acoustic as much as I thought I would anymore.

This ax would be perfect for anyone who likes to take their guitar with them outdoors. As was mentioned, weather does not affect them. They stay in tune and need no adjustments for a set up.

I want a Gibson M3 Deluxe, so if you have one in very good condition... I'd trade for that.

The hard shell case that comes with it (factory case) is a VERY high end case, too.

You could leave it out in the rain overnight and it would be fine the next day. The neck will never warp or need adjusting.

One morning bump and one evening bump and that's the last one. Don't be afraid of this guitar. It's a quality instrument and I'd bet that it will surely rise in value considering it's a pre-Peavey.
