WTB: Epiphone Wildkat
I've heard some pretty good things about these guitars; I mean how can you beat P-90s, authentic Bigsby, on a hollowbody for under $500? (at least under $500 anywhere I've looked).
Anyways, looking to see if I can get my hands on one if the price is right. Money is a little tight, hence why I'm considering the Epiphone and not a Gibson hollowbody. So if anyone's selling one, let me know and maybe we could work something out. |

Re: WTB: Epiphone Wildkat
I had one of the initial releases that had the Epi vibrato on it vs the Bigsby but honestly I could never tell the diff and always thought that it was just a branding issue and that it was produced by Bigsby. Here's a link to the PB album Epiphone Wildkat pictures by skydog653 - Photobucket I wish I still had it to sell to you
. The neck was slimmer than I prefer and the frets needed treated on the ends (very rough). This was not a humidity issue; they were long. All in all it was a nice guitar though. My son never forgave me for selling it. Big bang for the buck.

Re: WTB: Epiphone Wildkat
I was looking for a hollowbody and the Wildkat was one I tried. Wasn't very impressed with it and as one poster said it also had long sharp frets. Not sure how set you are on the p-90's but I ended up getting a Peavey Rockingham for around the same price with a nice hardcase (it comes with Gretsch type filtertron PU's).
