1974 Les Paul Custom FS

Originally a black two pickup, this particular guitar has seen a few mods. The back and sides have been refinned in a dark honey color(the serial number and "made in USA" are intact), and the third pickup was added by the previous owner in 1982. At that time, some sort of preamp was added, along with three DiMarzios and creme rings. The mahogany neck is unbroken, the pancake body looks great with the natural refin and the guitar now sports two T-tops and a Rio Grande Barbeque Bucker in the bridge. The wiring is as follows...regular two pickup switching like stock, but when the neck "tone" pot is pulled up, it brings in the middle pickup with the neck and the pot now acts as a volume. The bridge tone pot is a master tone. The frets are very low and it plays great. At 11 lbs, it's not lightweight, but I used it for 6 songs in our first set Saturday night and it was surprisingly comfortable.

$1799 with hard case. Interesting trades considered.
