*Body and Neck*

I am selling a 2003 Gibson Les Paul Studio with a maple top and rosewood fretboard that I took in recently. It is a definite players guitar with a headstock repair by the previous owner.

The previous owner stated that he used epoxy for the repair. The repair itself appears to be solid and the guitar plays well aside from the 2 screws in the neck.
However. The neck joint is very solid with no cracks or repairs, and the guitar sets up really well with low action and clear tone.

****I am selling just the body and neck for this one.**** Fretwear is barely visible with about 92-95% life remaining on the frets. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash but still in good condition. The body front has moderate players wear, But also still in good condition.

I will make a sound clip as soon as I am able to show the instruments honest potential. Make me an offer if you are interested. I do not have a case for the guitar. Well I will definitely be taking more pictures this evening. Here is a small sound clip that I recorded on a Mac.
Forgive the playing.........The Gibson LP Studio is strung with 12's and I usually string my personal instruments with 10's

Thats gotta be one of the worst neck repairs ive seen in a long time.Still well worth what you are asking for it!

It definitely isnt the best repair out there. I did not do the repair either.... However. It really sounds like the Gibson Les Paul Studio that I sold a few months back on MLP.

I will entertain offers on this one. I would rather the buyer be satisfied and understanding of what he receives, than get a few extra bucks.... Keep in touch. Josh

I took a few more pictures. I tried to capture the belt buckle wear plus also the small nicks and dings.

Also.... Like I already stated. The headstock repair could look a bit more professional. However...The tone is very clean and warm. It sounds great acoustically and electrically with clarity despite having a repair.

The action or string height is approx 2.5 mill. for the bass E string and 2.0 mill. for the treble E string. There is also room to bring the action down slightly based on preferences.
The bridge has perfect intonation with room to spare.....

And yeah, that headstock repair is pretty brutal. Was it bad enough that it absolutely needed the screws?
