The MyLesPaul Classifieds Section - Rules and Guidelines

Posting in the MLP Forum Members Classified Ads section is FREE !!!.to all registered members ONLY !!! which is also FREE !!! Please do not abuse these Privileges
Ads MAY be deleted periodically. If an item is sold, the seller is asked to please Post SOLD in the ad immediately.

If you buy in bulk/build/make/replicate/service or produce any music related items with the intent to sell,
PLEASE DO SO !!!

NOTE: Replying in this section encouraged

The MLP Administration asks that our members follow these guidelines for posting ads in this section:

1. SPAM SPAM SPAM

Just clean honest sales as you would amongst friends

2. PLEASE TURN ON OR INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL IN YOUR POST.
Please be sure that your email is available. Go to your user options and set it up. Or post it in your ad so that other members can contact you.

3. PLEASE MARK YOUR OWN ADS WHEN AN ITEM IS SOLD.

4.You may edit your ads at any time.

6. Any brand or make guitars & music related items can be posted for sale in the MLP

7. The MLP Forum is not responsible for any transactions.

any reason why the Edit option goes away after a while?

I found this out as well. I did a price drop and cannot edit my original ad.

A lot of forums have areas configured so the poster can't edit it after so-many minutes, hours or days. This is a default setting that prevents people from modifying the ad details (possibly heavily modifying), which can lead to problems with what was said on the original for sale ad should there be any problem with the buyer and seller. I don't know if this is why it's done here, or if it's just a common setting (that may or may nor be able to be changed). Just putting that out there, in case that's why. I suppose anyone serious about potentially buying an item will bother to scroll down to ensure it's not sold.

Sorry to be asking a perhaps dumb question, but im working on a new guitar related product and was thinking of giving some away on here and then selling them. Would that be tolerated here? Either way, this is probably the best forum i've been too.
