All of the above, I play alot of rock, im getting into blues and jazz, i use to play alot of metal so ya all of the above.

If anyone has anyparts for sale id be more then happy to hear bout em, Im lookin for a set of uncle lous tuners ( or the like ) some old caps, gold fret wire , ect

Chris needs a picture fix, so here we go

Here is the neck with rough layout markings.

Next we lay out a fingerboard and headstock overlay to get an idea.

that belt sander BTW, is worth 10 K. Lot's of guitars have been built on it.

Next the Neck tenon is cut out. It is rough cut at this point, then perfected with files chisels, and sanding blocks. Each neck is hand fitted to it's body.

After all the tedious fitting we fit the neck.

don't worry, it will not stay that thick!

Next comes the acid test. I grab the neck by the scruff and shake it! The neck has to fit tight with out slop. it needs to hold tight without any glue.

It passed the test!

Now that the neck is good and tight, I proceed to cutting down to real world dimensions.

Then I glue on the headstock wings.

After it comes out of clamps th headstock profile is cut out.

We then lay it on the ground for the inspirational shot.

This is always fun, as you start to see piles of wood becoming an instrument!
