Has anyone bought these blueprints?

Has anyone bought these bartlett blueprints?

If so...have you found them to be to scale?

Considering the source, I will say that doubt never entered my mind. I cannot imagine Tom letting a bum set of plans out. Otherwise we are still at StewMac and Catto #10. O'L

I have 2 sets and went over them fairly well and they are as accurate and to scale as you are going to find.

If a dimension says it is 38,1 mm it is as close to 38,1 mm as you will get when figuring in error in printing, paper variation and caliper accuracy. All necessary measurements are present.

In my opinion if you have the skill, good materials and these plans in hand, you will be able to build a '59 replica.

They dont have to be a bum set of plans..they could be just a diagram and therefore not need to be to scale?

They are indeed full scale. They are drawn very well. They are a great source of reference. I highly recommend them!

Re: Has anyone bought these blueprints?

His plans and templates are precise for an old burst 58-60, "Bartlett is the go to luthier on the forum," In my opinion, also he's a nice guy to do business with and will answer any question you have about a build!!!
