Re: What's on YOUR workbench right now?
Tredding, your work is amazing. Love that body shape and color. Very unique but still very classic, and classy. I am in awe of the talent on this board.

Re: What's on YOUR workbench right now?
Is that a US SD Curlee or the MIJ version? I think it's a really cool guitar, no matter.

Re: What's on YOUR workbench right now?
I guess it's a Hondo. I've played a couple of those back in the 80's, I really liked them and the construction is quite cool. I remember a US SD Curlee bass that had a non tapered neck, it felt awkward at first but once I got use to it it was great.

Re: What's on YOUR workbench right now?
This came in today. A 16 year old kid brought it and asked me if I could refinish it and make it smell like new
![]() When I opened the case it had that sweet, slightly musty smell that really old instruments get. It was beautiful. After I explained to the kid what he had and that it was not a cheap beater, he agreed that it was not to be messed with. So it's just going to get a nice set-up.

Re: What's on YOUR workbench right now?
This, another Rist~o~Caster. One piece alder body..........no glue up. rosewood/maple neck with 12 inch radius, jumbo frets, all oil finish, real celluloid tort guard, awaiting some pups to replace the donor pickups.
