This is the most amazing top that I have ever laid eyes on.

Where on Earth did you find such a beautiful piece of wood?

That is EXACTLY what I want my first to look like. Breathtaking.

Here is one I'm just finishing up. It has a monster neck. Full 1" at the 1st fret with a sharp V profile.

Nice guitar.

Hats off and many kudos to:

Eshuffle = Ken

Roman (you are the bomb!)

John Catto (awesome guitars and lots of help in the luthier's corner)

You guys rock! Definitely three of my fav's that I have come across here.

Keep up the great work, as I am sure you will.

Re: post guitars you built

MRJ5,

Thanks alot!

Customer had sent me several pics of Murhpy era LP's for the color. These 'bursts with red/brown are really hard to capture with digital cameras. My photographer uses a Nikon D3 and applies a blue filter to every sunburst with red in it to keep it from saturating red. The pics here are as it actually looks to the naked eye - brick red/brown.

Cheers,

Cheers,
I's kind of embarrassing compared to some of the beauties on here,
All I really did was source the parts.
Musikraft neck: Clapton "V" profile, 12" radius, Pau Ferro board, SS frets, repro waterslide.
ReRanch amber laquer
Body is a recent MIJ '62 Reissue, Oly White, 4.0 lbs even
All Callaham hardware, pots, and jack
Lollar Blackface pickups, old stock Vitamin Q .47 or .50?
No tone control on middle pickup
Kluson single line repros
Genuine Fender plastic
Now has 12-54's, 5 trem springs, Callaham '54 style string tree, and bone nut. (not in pics)
Sleeps in an EJ case. More pics at link.

That one looks great! A sunburst LP junior - I really like that!
If I'll going to build a guitar some days, it'll be a LP junior as well I guess!

Finished about a week ago... Probably my last electrical venture, as I'm starting my first acoustic build (which is very exciting)!

Jack, a true work of art.
I really like the contour at the heel, the twist in the upper mid section contour and the shading in the upper horn cut out is a very nice touch.
