i find it interesting that the US government is getting the 300,000. and the money to used for conservation purposes is only the 50,000..
IMHO, those figures should be reversed, or at least equal also find the last paragraph of that press release rather interesting. wonder how much time elapsed between the time the tress were harvested, and the time they were actually shipped as fingerboard blanks. and if these blanks were already inside the USA prior to Gibson placing their order ?
