57/62 PartsCaster project,but first,need some advices
Well today am bringing you guys this project that is on my head since 7th grade,a 62/57 partscaster,first am going to list the specs:
Body: Left handed Swamp ash SSS configuration All regular strat stuff Neck: 62 specs neck with maple fingerboard,soft V shape,Jumbo frets. yeah both are.
alder is still in progress (just cleared the neck maybe 20 mins ago actually) '54 partsie: ![]() and as for the neck if you're painting the body may as well paint the neck too! missed a step too before: stain yellow clear burst clear finish coats |

You will need vintage amber aresol nitro and tobacco brown or black aresol nitro if you want black but I believe the original was tabacco brown.
I don't know a thing about Gracey's nitro so your own your own there. I can recommend either Stewmac's which is Seagraves with a Stewmac lable or ReRanch as great aresol nitro products. As far a a spray schedule if you want I can write up a finish schedule for you and pm it out side of that this process has be described a million times on the forum and I even have a basic schedule I posted many month ago that was mentioned again in the topic called " Nitro Question: on this page of the luthier's corner at the present time.
