Refinishing in Amsterdam
Probably the wrong forum to ask, but who knows... There may be someone from the Netherlands who has an answer!
I am looking for a finishing guy in Amsterdam to do a little work on a Gibson Les Paul. The guy I had suddenly bailed on me, leaving me extremely disappointed and pissed off as my luthier was waiting on his answer to start the work on the guitar. As this company said yes my luthier went ahead and last saturday I delivered the guitar to the painter. Today I get an email that he decides not to do it, citing all sorts of bullsh1t reasons he could have seen when my luthier came down to his workshop to have the guitar checked out. So does anyone know a good paint guy in the Netherlands? Preferably in Amsterdam. Thanks.

Re: Refinishing in Amsterdam

Re: Refinishing in Amsterdam
Keep me posted on his work.
I see that gitaarwerk.com is an "ECABO company", so I'd be apprehensive to bring my Gibson there as well. Yesterday my luthier retrieved the guitar from the painter and we went over the possibilities. As this guitar has seen more than enough road it also has more than enough dings, scratches and what-not, so he is simply going to screw in the pickups and other stuff so I can see whether I can live with it or not. If not I am going to some spamming to finishers I've been handed on the forums I've asked for help. Thanks so far, and as said before: keep me posted on HansGitaar. What guitar did you bring to him? And for what exactly?
