No he didn't.....

make his own headstock inlay.

Oh yes I did and here's the photographic proof;

By no means is this even in the realm of a Tulsah Logo, but since it was a "One Off"
I didn't think it merited the expense of his artful work. Truth is, I wasn't sure
I could pull this off, and even as unprofessional as it is, I'm happy enough with
it. However, I will use this opportunity to once again appluad him for his
work as this thing took me a total of about 5 hours to make.

Now, I just need to come up with ideas for the other 6 "Deadly Sins"

Very cool. I can't imagine that was fun.... But maybe I'll have to try it some day.

You know, it really wasn't that bad at all. Time consuming, but easy enough. Diamond
mini files and little specifically cut scraps of sand paper....oh, and a little elbow grease.

Anytime you see me do something, it's only a testimony that anyone can do it.

Cool.

I have a little piece of reindeer horn on my desk and I've been wondering how and where to use it... Hmm...

That would be awesome and even cooler if you named, and then inlayed,
"Games"

(Get it? "Reindeer Games", buwahahaha)

Nice one, what was the overall thickness of the inlay.

I have a lil piece of reindeer horn too. Unfortunatly Santa's sleigh is gonna be slower this year. But I tell ya, Blitzen was good eats!lol hey dont land on my roof with an 18 point buck and tell me all that clackity clack ain't supposed to send me running for the 12 guage. Anyway, that Santa bawled so much I brined the tuff cuts with a bucket of his tears, fat old pu$$y.

You know, I never thought to measure it. I'd venture to say it was about
as thick as most "thicker" inlays. Does that make any sense at all?
I started with a thicker part of the bone so there'd be more room for error.

That's cool! I had considered trying something like that with my build, but then my design idea changed.

Re: No he didn't.....

Very cool indeed! What was that bone from a ham? Hehe.... Get some sealer on there before the dog smells it... Just kidding, great job, be years before I could probably pull off anything like that!

Regards,

Don
