Color question
I see many les Paul's with the mohogany stained a dark reddish color. What is that color? Or is that just straight nitro over mohogany?

Re: Color question
A lot of folks tint their grain filler and then shoot amber clear over the whole guitar.
Or there's "Vintage Red" as a color option. Just two ways it's done. |

Re: Color question
It is roughly, oil based grain filled mixed with red dye aniline or otherwise. With clear over the top, or ambered clear.
I've noticed you've asked a lot of questions and started lots of threads. You should filter the forum by "most replies" and read the first page of threads and you would have the answer to all of the questions. Good luck! |
