Re: guitarscratchremover.com
Shes all ready to go, Virtuoso'd it 4 times last night (1 cleaner, 3 polish) now I gotta wait 2 weeks for the polish (1 week for paypal, then order it and wait) Maybe I polished a little early?
![]() The Virtuoso helped but there are some pretty bad scratches there, one I can feel with my fingernail, that one may not come out, but it will help it.

Re: guitarscratchremover.com
I stumbled on another use for the guitarscratchremover. I was looking at my mirrored pickguards and they each had some good sized pick scratches. For giggles I rubbed the scratches with 3 coats of the goop and each PG looks brand new. For some reason I never would've thought the stuff would work on a mirrored surface, but it does!

Re: guitarscratchremover.com
Hey dudes...
![]() I've just got the Player's Kit from Guitarscratchremover.com because i have some scrathes on my les paul's. i started to put some on my ''Epiphone Les Paul Standard'' because i wanted to try it out on a cheaper les paul before i did it on my ''Gibson Les Paul Traditional''... ;D but the scrathes on my epi just didn't seam to come off...? in the players kid there is a 'blue' Guitar Finish Restore Plus and two 'red' Guitar Finish Restore Plus. I just took'd the Micro-fiber Towel put some of the red stuff on the towel, and wiped it on in cirkles, and then I wiped it off again... Then I took'd some of the 'blue' stuff on the towel, and did the same thing... But the scrathes didn't go away... ! -what is the diferent between the red and the blue? -why can't i get the scrathes off? -And how did you do it? Thank's in advance... ROCK ON!!!

Re: guitarscratchremover.com
I just order the stuff for my Cherry Sunburst Classic lefty. We'll see. I bought it used so the wars marks aren't mine. I'll do before and after.
And advice on how to use this stuff? Amount, Times needs, how much before ruining the guitar? |

Re: guitarscratchremover.com
This stuff works. I'll see if I can shoot some photos later.
Used it on my les paul classic I bought used. It removed the scratch from the pickguard. (Looks like it fell and onto the pickguard.) Used it to remove what I thought was wear but turned out to be the other owners sweat/film right where you arms goes. Now its like new pefect and shiny. the Dull grayness is gone. I then did it to the neck and notice it was leaving a film. I was so pissed. I then used it on my Strat it took out a big scratch but I got some on the back guard and it striped all of the oldness/ sweat off it. I then used more on the neck of the guitar and notice it wasn't leaving guck it was taking it out. Like using one towel to clean a whole floor. You'll need more than just a dab. Now my les paul looks brand new. (its missing that layer of old dullness) The red seem to be good to get the guck off the blue was really for decent scratches I'll get photos soon |

Re: guitarscratchremover.com
Hey ehamady6, I have many different types of guitars, different colors, some natural or clear, some lacquer and some poly. What do you recommend short of the Players Kit Pro because $42.95 is too much for me right now, especially since I would like to just try the product and see if it's worthwhile for me at all.

Re: guitarscratchremover.com
Common sence, to re-move a scratch from any finish there are two methods and two methods only. first and best is to wet sand/buff out. Second is to fill with a compatable solids and buff.
Their web site has these two statement on the front page. Not a filler, cover-up, or temporary fix Real scratch removal that will not harm your finish, and works at the microscopic level with nano-particles to systematically eliminate scratches They are trying to make you think this is some sort of nano magic. It is not it is a fill and polish process. The only magic is that the compond burns ito the finish making the fill part of the film. Just like using lacquer sticks but simpler to apply. |
