Pickup-winding on my hi-end winding-machine...
![]() ![]() ![]() My splitcoils consist of two separate coils for bass and treble-strings with individual alnico 5 magnets. I used awg42 wire for the neck-pickup and awg43 for the bridge-pickup. |

Pickups are wax-potted twice. First without covers and then a second time with covers mounted to eliminate any noise. Wax used was 80 % paraffin and 20 % beeswax.

Beveling the fretslot edges. Helps to seat the fretwire better.
